Thanks for stopping by. Rather than a standard bio, I thought I'd introduce myself with a letter. So here's a little about who I am, what I'm working on, and how I got here.
When I was eleven, my English teacher assigned us a project: pick a skill, learn it over a few months, and present it to the class. So what did I choose? Stock investing, of course. I admit it wasn't the most conventional choice for an eleven-year-old, but looking back, I'm glad it's the one I picked. I read every investment book I could find, opened a custodial account, and paper-traded for months. The project eventually ended, but my interest never did, and a year later I was trading with real money. What pulled me in was the nature of markets themselves. They were competitive, they moved fast, and they were full of problems with no clean answers.
That soon became a pattern. I'd find something I wanted to understand, stick with it until I did, and then try to build something from it. At fifteen, that turned into Vantage Youth Group, a not-for-profit I co-founded to give high schoolers a platform to learn business and finance. It was my first real experience leading a team and building something from the ground up, and it left me wanting to do more. So a year later, I published Fundamentals of the Stock Market, an introductory investing book that became an Amazon bestseller and reached students around the world.
Fast forward a few years, and I'm now studying business at Berkeley Haas. Outside of classes and clubs, though, two things take up most of my time. The first is Khepri Capital, where I serve as Chief Investment Officer, spending most of my days on market research and asset allocation with a focus on fundamentals and momentum. The second is Vermillion Club, which I lead as President. It's a private network for the next generation of principals, heirs, and visionaries, built on the idea that the best opportunities come from the people you know. Alongside both, I stay involved in the startup world and do research on the side.
There's more to me than work, though. I train in martial arts, play the piano, and love to travel. As for what's next, I want to keep learning, keep building, and do work worth doing. And if I can, make the world a better place for future generations.
